Questions we are asked most
Short answers first. Anything specific to your skin is decided in consultation.
QIs there English or Spanish support?
Yes. Consultation and treatment guidance are supported in English and Spanish during clinic hours. Between 2023 and 2026 the clinic recorded 2,388 cumulative international patient visits (internal reception records). You can message us in advance on WhatsApp, LINE or Instagram to arrange language support for your visit.
QHow do I get there from the subway?
It is 44m from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 7 — under a one-minute walk. Sinnonhyeon is served by Line 9 and the Sinbundang Line. The clinic is on the 6th floor of Regen Medical Tower at 463 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu. If you are coming from Gangnam Station, Sinnonhyeon is one stop away on the Sinbundang Line — the nearest exit for anyone searching dermatology near me around Gangnam.
QWhat are the opening hours?
Monday, Thursday and Friday 10:30–20:00; Tuesday and Wednesday 10:30–19:00; Saturday 10:30–16:00. Closed every Sunday. There is a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00 on weekdays, and none on Saturday. Last reception is 30 minutes before closing, which is worth checking before you travel to any Gangnam skin clinic.
QWho performs the consultation and the procedure?
Director Choi Myung-sun carries out the consultation, the design and the procedure in person. The director lectures other physicians at the S.M.A.R.T. Medical Petit Academy.
QWhat is VISIA and why is it used?
VISIA is a skin imaging system used in clinic to record pigmentation, pores, wrinkles and surface texture from several angles. It is a diagnostic aid read alongside the doctor's examination to set a treatment direction — it does not treat skin and does not predict a result.
QWhich devices does the clinic hold?
22 device and product types are held on site, covering skin care, pigment and acne lasers, lifting (Ulthera Prime, Shurink Universe, XERF, Potra 4D), skin boosters (Rejuran HB Plus, Laetigen, Juvelook and others) and fillers (Stylage, Juvéderm). Holding a device is a statement of fact — whether it suits you is decided after consultation and examination.
QAre there side effects I should know about?
Yes. Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness or pigment change can occur, and how the skin responds differs between individuals. Possible side effects, alternatives and aftercare are explained before you agree to a procedure. Tell your doctor about any medication you take, allergies, and any procedure you have had before.
QCan I book before I travel to Korea?
Yes. Send an enquiry through WhatsApp, LINE, Instagram or email and the clinic will confirm an available time. Booking ahead is recommended, especially for evening slots.
